In 1970, with nothing but determination and an eye for quality timber, Mr. P. Umamaheswara Rao laid the foundation of what would become a multi-generational family business. His legacy, Uma Timber Traders Group, still anchors everything we do today. From the 1980s onward, Mr. PLV Subba Rao took the reins and dedicated his life to growing the business his father started. Through changing markets, evolving customer needs and decades of early mornings at the yard and office, his relentless hard work and integrity transformed Uma Timber Traders Group into the trusted name it is today — and laid the path for Gemini Timber & Plywoods to flourish.
